A tariff is a tax charged when wine crosses a border. This page tracks what the United States charges on wine from each country, and how that has changed.

What a tariff is

A tariff is a tax charged when goods cross a border. For wine coming into the United States the importer pays it, and most of it usually ends up in the price on the shelf.

The rates differ by country and have changed often since 2025. This page keeps track.
