Château Mouton Rothschild's grand vin is a Cabernet-dominant Pauillac aged 19–22 months in new oak. Each vintage's label is designed by a different artist, a tradition since 1945 that gives certain vintages (2000 with its gilt Augsburg ram, 1973 Picasso) a collectible premium independent of the wine's quality. Production is the largest among the first growths in trade reporting.
