Haut-Brion's vineyard is surrounded by the city, which makes its land uniquely un-comparable: there is no agricultural price for a Pessac vineyard hemmed in by suburbs, and no possibility of expansion. Domaine Clarence Dillon also owns La Mission Haut-Brion across the road and the négociant Clarence Dillon Wines.
